Working with the National Girls Collaborative Project, STEM Next developed an Equity and Inclusion Framework to use as a guide for supporting programs as they identify resources and strategies that broaden participation. Two webinars will be offered to help participants learn about and how to apply the Framework. The first session will introduce the ways in which a framework is a useful tool. Presenters will share examples within broad categories for increasing access to STEM learning opportunities. The second session will delve more deeply into the specific strategies and tactics along with a special focus on cultural responsiveness. Along with learning about frameworks, generally, participants will learn how to categorize and implement programs that benefit all students and improve overall program quality.
