Eve Boyle

Special Advisor, Maryland Department of Labor

Eve Khadijiah Boyle, Ph.D., is a biological anthropologist with expertise in developing policies and programs that broaden participation in STEM education, research capacity, and workforce development efforts.
At the Maryland Department of Labor, she supports the Office of Strategic Initiatives within the Division of Workforce Development and Adult Learning.
Eve previously served as a Special Advisor for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration (2024-2025) and as a Senior Policy Advisor at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (2023-2024). At U.S. DOL, Eve supported the Office of Job Corps. At the White House OSTP, she coordinated STEM education and workforce policy development for the interagency Committee on STEM.
From 2020 to 2022, she served as an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Science Foundation within the Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences Directorate.
Eve completed a postdoctoral research fellowship (2019-2020), and later served as Associate Director of Training and Engagement Strategy (2022-2023), at Howard University. She received her Ph.D. in human paleobiology (a subfield of biological anthropology) from The George Washington University in 2019.
