Daniel Bicknell

Advisor, Partnership Coordination, American Climate Corps

Daniel Bicknell (he/him) is the Senior Advisor for Implementing Partners at the American Climate Corps. The American Climate Corps is a partnership of The White House, AmeriCorps, Department of Agriculture, Department of Commerce, Department of Energy, Department of the Interior, Department of Labor, and the Environmental Protection Agency. It is a workforce training and national service initiative that aims to put tens of thousands of young Americans to work fighting the impacts of climate change today while training tomorrow’s clean energy and climate-resilience workforce.

Daniel is motivated to combat the climate crisis and improve wellbeing at the nexus of community, science, and governance. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a senior project manager in the Center for Sustainable Development at the Brookings Institution. At Brookings, he supported community leaders and organizers to advance progress on the world’s Sustainable Development Goals through the 17 Rooms Initiative. Daniel previously worked at the Harvard Belfer Center’s Arctic Initiative, Partners in Health, Peace Corps Response Peru, the U.S. Department of Energy, and Marstel-Day, LLC.

Daniel holds an MPP in International and Global Affairs from the Harvard Kennedy School and an A.B. in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard College.
