Stephanie Rodriguez, PhD, Workforce and Training Policy Fellow

Dr. Stephanie Rodriguez is a Workforce and Training Policy Fellow serving at the Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration. An immunologist by training, Stephanie brings a data and analytics approach to science and technology workforce development, equity, and policy advancement.

Stephanie served as a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Science Foundation advancing the broadening participation in computer science portfolio, then took that focus to the Afterschool Alliance as STEM Policy Director, ensuring access to STEM engagement and CS learning in the out of school space. She spent several years as VP of Policy and Engagement at AnitaB.org, a global nonprofit advancing women technologists into positions of power. In this role, Stephanie developed and led the workforce equity policy portfolio, managing Hill and Executive branch relationships around issues including but not limited to government hiring of diverse technical talent. Most recently, Stephanie served as the Federal Partnership Director at Tech Talent Project, working to increase the ability of the U.S. government to recruit modern technical leaders.
