Offered by Partnerships in Education and Resilience (PEAR) 

Vetted Data Collections Tools

Access to validated and reliable tools including:

  • Common Instrument Suite-Student (CIS-S) – youth self-report survey
  • Common Instrument Suite-Educator (CIS-E) – educator self-report survey
  • Dimensions of Success (DoS) – program quality observation tool
  • Guides/Materials to support quality administration/data collection in all settings

Technical Assistance and Support Services

  • An online portal with centralized resources including data collection and coaching guides, publications, webinar recordings, and resources to support quality STEM learning.
  • Communication packages for Networks to promote opportunities in their state
  • Recruitment and follow-up calls with Network Leads, as needed

 

Dynamic Data Visualization

Access to centralized data collection/dashboarding platform with the following features:

  • Rapid visualization of state- and program-level data
  • National representative comparison samples/norms
  • Filters to drill down data and explore questions relevant to states and programs
  • Exportable figures and data that can be used for grant applications, professional development, and advocacy

 

Supportive Data Systems Fellowship Model

To build capacity of states around data collection and advocacy PEAR will pilot the Data Systems Fellowship Model with select states that have interest, capacity, and staffing. Participating states will gain valuable insights to transform STEM education models, improve quality of services and learn how to tell their unique data narrative story.
