Science Fairs Under the Scope is a national study of middle school (grade 6-8) science fairs. If you work at an informal science institution, please take this 2 minute survey – click to learn more. The project will examine the variety of middle school science fair models; whether and how science fairs increase students’ interest in STEM and enhance students’ mastery of the science and engineering practices; and what costs and resources are required to implement an effective middle school science fair.
