Scarlett is interested in pursuing engineering and health & medicine.

“STEM learning outside of school has allowed me to view myself as able to be successful in later life, and able to overcome obstacles using the skills of problem solving I have gained through STEM. I completed a medical course through a government program that taught me all of the skills and gave me the prerequisites to become an emergency first responder, which I have been able to apply to everyday life, knowing how to deescalate bad situations and potentially being able to save a person’s life.”
