Kandake

Kandake is interested in pursuing a career in health & medicine.

“STEM has helped me grow my love for medicine and shape my future career goals. I am interested in how the human body works and how science can be used to help people. I attended a biology summer camp at Purdue University Northwest. This camp introduced me to labs, hands-on experiments, dissections, and using microscopes to look at cells. Working with others I learned teamwork and problem solving. This made me realize this is what I wanted to do with my life.”
