“STEM learning outside of school has impacted my view of my future by expanding the list of careers I’m interested in. During my time at FAME, I got to hear about many different careers related to STEM. One that really stuck out to me was audiology. For a while I wanted to be an audiologist, but after watching ‘You Are What You Eat’ and many similar documentaries, I have been more interested in becoming a microbiologist or something related to nutrition because our guts impact everything.”
